MicroTrace OVA Protects Drinking Water Systems in Peru
Modern Water continues to see increased activity and orders in the mining industry. The company secured another order for its MicroTrace OVA Series trace metals analyzer from a customer in Peru. The total value of the new order combined with an earlier order will result in the highest level of activity since 2018.
The MicroTrace OVA is a fully automated online metal monitor, developed as a modular system, to provide continuous or intermittent monitoring of metals in process streams, effluent discharges, river and potable water. The OVA is based on internationally recognized voltammetry (ASV and CSV) technology, which provides a quick and accurate determination of metals at the micrograms per litre level, directly comparable with laboratory analysis using AAS or ICP.
The OVA Series can be configured to measure up to 23 different metals with detection limits as low as 0.1 µg/L. Learn more about how the MicroTrace OVA helps protect critical water supplies here.
Modern Water Exhibits at China’s Largest Environmental Trade Show – IE Expo
Modern Water participated at IE Expo 2021, which was held from April 20th to 22nd in the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The IE Expo is Asia’s leading trade fair for environmental technology and is regarded as the most important platform for practical solutions in the areas of water supply, sewage, waste disposal, recycling, air pollution control, environmental technology, and renewable energies. It is estimated that over 70,000 visitors travelled to Shanghai for the event to learn about products and solutions. Visitors to Modern Water’s booth expressed considerable interest in the company’s Microtox rapid acute toxicity products, MicroTrace heavy metal analyzers and the company’s all membrane brine concentration technology (AMBC).
Modern Water Partners with Microsaic Systems in Mass Spectrometry
Modern Water is partnering with Microsaic Systems to apply mass spectrometry to water quality monitoring challenges. The collaboration should result in innovative products that solve some of the most difficult water quality monitoring challenges.
