Modern Water is delighted to announce that we have achieved the ISO9001 certification for our UK operation. Our Microtox is the first and only acute toxicity reagent that is manufactured in an ISO9001 certified facility. The administration systems of Modern Water have been assessed and approved by QAS International and are deemed as experts in the technology for monitoring toxicity in water, soil, food and industry.
ISO9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Modern Water has achieved this internationally recognized standard for our technology and management systems. The team worked tirelessly to implement process improvements to our systems and put our customers’ needs first to achieve this certification. There were numerous criteria met revolving around customer focus, leadership, engagement of our people, process approach, etc. In addition, the team, engaged in practical training with a focus on improvement and used our guiding principles to iterate our products to the highest quality standards.
