A recent article posted on the Science Trends website, which can be found here, describes how researchers at the New Mexico State University have developed a novel process that employs naturally occurring algae to treat urban wastewater in order to meet mandated discharge standards. Modern Water’s Microtox technology was used to determine the effluent was free of any toxicants.
